Aces of the Pacific

Aces of the Pacific is a realistic (like all Aces simulator games) flight simulator dedicated to fighting in the Pacific during World War II.

There are two sides to the conflict to choose from - the United States and Japan, as well as a huge (this is not an exaggeration) number of types of aircraft (what you have to do in the game also depends in part on the type you choose). The game has two modes - single battles and a campaign ("career growth" - promotion in the rank as you complete the missions) with some semblance of plot.

Realism is manifested not only in a rather difficult control (which, however, is several orders of magnitude friendlier than in other simulators of that time), but also in the many weather conditions that will prevent you from achieving your goals (wind, solar flare, etc.).

The game can definitely be of interest to lovers of historical simulations, but it really didn’t seem really exciting to me personally.
