Day of the Tentacle

Day of the Tentacle is one of the most famous quests from LucasArts. The semi-official sequel to Maniac Mansion, having outdone its progenitor quite easily.

The bottom line: Bernard Bernoulli, one of the secondary heroes of the first game, with his two friends, rocker Hoagi and the slightly crazy maniac biological biologist Laverne, returns to the insane mansion (tm), which is now becoming the center of the struggle for the fate of the world.

One of the tenqats, familiar to us from the last series - Violet - having drunk water from the river polluted by Dr. Fred, mutated, became smarter and grew his hands. With these new abilities, he sets out to conquer the world ...

Dr. Fred decides to send our three losers yesterday, so they turned off his waste machine before this happens, but his time machine broke down and threw Hougie two hundred years into the past, and Laverne two hundred years into the future ... Bernard same returned to the present.

The main finding of the game is that after setting up a connection with the past and the future through Time Toilet Seats (well, Fred was making his time machine from improvised means ...) you can control all three guys at the same time, transferring items back and forth and changing the course of history to simplify tasks , if you cut down a tree in the past, it will disappear in the future [a blistering tip]). Add to this the crazy, slightly black, humor and cartoon graphics, and beyond that - the fact that this is a game from LukasArts, and get a hit for all time.

The only pity is that the game is a bit short (but you probably won't notice this in the first pass ...).
