Guimo

Guimo is a two-dimensional platformer with a side view, where you will play as a green erect pangolin.

As expected, there is a certain abstract plot: the action takes place on a planet called Bitland, which is populated by such lizards (as the main character), where the army of the evil Necterion invades (various skeletons, ghosts, and so on). They need not only to stop, but also to find and close the portal through which they entered this world.

This arcade fully justifies the genre affiliation: dynamism, atmospheric, reasonable complexity - everything is in place. The graphics for the 1997 game (albeit under DOS), probably, could have been better, but its possible shortcomings are more than compensated by a variety of locations - from villages lost in forests to gloomy dungeons.

Recommended for all lovers of good old platformers.
