Le Fetiche Maya

May Le Fetiche is the first adventure game from Similaris, a kind of Colorado prequel and, in some ways, Robinson’s Requiem.

The game will be played by a brave archaeologist (but without a sense of humor, unlike Indiana Jones, and not so charismatic), who went to the jungle of the Yucatan Peninsula, on the border of Mexico and Guatemala, in order to find an ancient totem of one of the Mayan tribes in an abandoned temple. Of course, it will not be so easy ...

At one time, the game was positioned as maximally realistic; perhaps at that time it really was one of those, although in my opinion it does not reach the Wilderness level in any of the indicators, but it came out three years later.

Le Fetiche Maya is, in fact, just a very complicated platformer, where you have to not only jump and avoid traps, but also solve puzzles that are objectively difficult for the genre, and even before the start of the “adventure”, stock up on the necessary things for a successful study of the temple in a special store: inventory in the game plays a big role. What really surprises is the ability to ride a jeep, and the view in this game mode is in full 3D.

If you do not expect too much from the game (namely, overly high complexity and detail of various aspects), then it is quite possible to enjoy passing this cute platformer with an interesting story, a mysterious atmosphere and excellent hand-drawn graphics.
