Mega Man X

The events of the Mega Man X series take place 100 years after the time of the original game. The ingenious Dr. Light, who created the first humanoid robots, died long ago, but left the world his greatest work - Android X, which had unlimited potential and the ability to think and act independently. At the time of testing, X was enclosed in a capsule, where he stayed for a century, until he was discovered by Dr. Cain, who studied the work of Light. X completely lived up to expectations and was, in fact, the first replicoid (replicant android), that is, a robot with real artificial intelligence. Inspired by this discovery, Cain tried to copy model X and create a whole class of similar robots. At first, the experiment was successful, but all of the doctor’s plans crashed when the reploids began to go crazy with the effects of a virus unknown until now. The result of madness was rampant aggression towards the entire human race. The existence of humans was compromised, but X, immune to the virus, took on the mission of protecting the world from danger. Joining the special Maverick Hunters squad, he, along with his mentor reploid Ziro, began hunting for distraught robots wherever his help was needed.

The plot of the entire Mega Man X series is full of drama and often focuses the player’s attention on the internal struggle of heroes taking place against the backdrop of catastrophic events. At the same time, the game completely adopted the surprisingly addictive and very active gameplay of the original parts, which does not let the player relax for a second, makes you act quickly and carefully, and never bothers due to the many original finds of the developers. As before, you are free to choose the procedure for completing the main missions, of which there are eight, and from the decisions made, subsequent tasks can become much easier and provide you with big bonuses. So, for example, after defeating each boss, Megamen X gets a new weapon that works most effectively against another robot leader. In addition, the successful completion of one mission in some cases opens up secret places in another, so each one will most likely have to be replayed several times. Of course, in order to meet with the final boss, visiting all the hiding places is not necessary, but bear in mind that, in addition to large reserves of health and energy, in secret rooms you will also find modifications for armor, and this already significantly affects the gameplay in whole. Here you have the opportunity to quickly glide over short distances, and halve damage, and an improved blaster that adds all (!) Types of weapons an alternative shooting mode ...

In the best traditions of the original series, the game does not end at the end of the first eight missions. On the contrary, the most difficult test - the fortress of the main villain and the leader of the crazy Sigma reloids - is yet to come. It is there that you will need maximum concentration on the task - Sigma is not joking, and the battles will be especially difficult.

The high interest in the game is also supported by the uniqueness and beauty of bright locations in which we fight with hordes of opponents together with X, and music that is memorable, lively, and invariably brings pleasure from listening. To summarize the above, an arcade fan simply cannot have a reason not to try this spectacular and dynamic game. The adventure is already waiting for its hero, so hurry up - because the future of all mankind depends on your actions.
