Wolf

Wolf is a wolf simulator game. On these words, the review, in principle, could have been completed, because no stories and descriptions of details will help to express the depth of this game. After all, this is the first (of three) real animal simulator.

Before starting, we can choose a wolf to play for, and this process can be compared with the generation of a character in some simple RPG. You can call the wolf by some name, set up a number of characteristics, choose whether our wolf is single or live in a pack. And then what is called the word “gameplay” will begin ... True, here it will be a little like everything we saw before ...

Tasks and missions are more than diverse - from finding a life partner to the regime "live in this forest for at least one day." Hunting, mating, caring for offspring, interaction with various other animals (we remember that the wolf is far from the strongest beast), “hide and seek” with hunters is really a wolf simulator, and it’s with a capital letter, not in last of all, thanks to the luxurious built-in encyclopedia about wolves, from which, by the way, you can gather a lot of new and interesting information about these wonderful animals.

The verdict this time is just fine. And in terms of graphics, too: the isometric view for such a game is the most convenient, the wolves and the whole environment are well drawn, sometimes it even seems that the game is three-dimensional. One can only endlessly regret that this almost never happened again - after all, as already mentioned, only two sequels came out, of which only one has survived at the moment - Lion (the lion simulator). The last game in the series - Fading Footsteps, which again proposed to control the wolves, today belongs to the category of "dead" games.
