Sudoku games
Sudoku - is a puzzle with numbers. Sometimes sudoku is called a magic square, which in general is wrong, as sudoku is a 9th order Latin square. Sudoku actively publish newspapers and magazines around the world, sudoku collections are published in large editions. Game Sudoku is a popular form of leisure.
The playing field is a 9 × 9 square, divided into smaller squares with a side of 3 cells. Thus, the entire playing field consists of 81 cells. In them, at the beginning of the game, there are some numbers (from 1 to 9), called prompts. The player is required to fill the free cells with numbers from 1 to 9 so that in each row, in each column and in each small 3 × 3 square each digit would meet only once.
The complexity of sudoku depends on the number of initially filled cells and on the methods to be used to solve it. The simplest ones are solved deductively: there is always at least one cell where only one number fits. Some puzzles can be solved in a few minutes, others can spend hours.
Properly composed puzzle has only one solution. Nevertheless, on some websites on the Internet, under the guise of complicated puzzles, the user is offered options for sudoku with several solutions, as well as with branches of the actual solution.
Have you ever wondered where the game came from, and who invented it? It all started in 1979, when a certain Howard Garns, at the age of 74, published sudoku in a puzzle magazine. At that time, the initially anonymous inventor called his puzzle Number Place. In Germany, as in the rest of Europe, Number Place was not popular at that time, and only in the late 1980s did it succeed at the other end of the northern hemisphere in Japan.
The Japanese also came up with her name "Su Doku." Although from the point of view of the game process, nothing has changed since then, in Europe, especially in Germany, Sudoku became popular much later. His popularity is gaining momentum today. Howard Garns has not witnessed this success in Europe. Shortly before he died at the age of 84 from cancer and was buried in 1989 in Indianapolis. Meanwhile, Sudoku has become so popular that many variations of the game were invented
